The Crossroads Domestic Violence program helps offenders realize that there simply is no acceptable excuse for abuse. The program emphasizes that people are not meant for hitting, and shows how violence undermines the purpose of a family and a home. Participants will also come to understand that problems are never solved through violence. Each participant is encouraged to accept responsibility for his or her actions, and will learn how to cope with personal problems in a nonviolent manner. This facilitator guide leads the instructor through each component of the curriculum and features detailed activity instructions in the appendix.
