The Crossroads Drug & Alcohol program is based on research that has identified a range of problems that are most commonly present when experimentation with drugs and/or alcohol begins. This longer program delves more deeply into the importance of discovering alternatives to using Drugs and Alcohol as well as developing health positive friendships. Using interactive learning, the program focuses on building better self-esteem, improving personal relationships, establishing a good work ethic, creating positive self-direction and defining alternatives to using drugs and/or alcohol. This facilitator guide leads the instructor through each component of the curriculum and features detailed activity instructions in the appendix.
