This Cognitive Life Skills program aligns with the recognized principals of effective interventions by addressing the criminogenic needs of the offender, utilizing a cognitive behavioral approach, responding to the offender’s individual needs, and ensuring the fidelity of the program. Offenders who participate in the Cognitive Life Skills program will learn how their thoughts, attitudes, and processing of situations relate to their behavior and how to be in control of their life.
