Crossroads JOBTEC curriculum contains 55 hours of classroom material based upon the 21^st Century U.S. Workforce Report (2006) which outlines the necessary Applied Skills crucial for employee success. Additional research utilized in the development of the curriculum includes The 17 Foundation Skills (2007) for the modern applicant. The findings of these research projects show the need for skill based training in the areas of Professionalism/Work Ethic, Teamwork/Collaboration, Communication, Ethics/Social Responsibility, Creativity/Innovation, Leadership and other critical topic areas - these are each incorporated into the JOBTEC curriculum. The curriculum is designed from beginning through end to assist each participant’s transition into the workforce and to maintain employment for the long-term. The curriculum is designed to be taught in two-hour sessions for a total of 28 sessions.
