Ethics in the Workplace

Some people will argue that ethical beliefs and standards should be the same, no matter what the situation. Others feel that ethics and standards should be determined by the individual situation.

Why does one person take issue with ethics that another may find perfectly acceptable? How do people decide what is right for them and where to draw the line?

NCTI's Ethics workshop explores the many issues and elements that make up a person's individual ethics. Workshop highlights include learning how individuals make ethical decisions, and their organization's expectations for standards of professional ethical behavior.

During the Ethics in the Workplace workshop, participants will:

  • Develop a working definition of ethics.
  • Discover the impact their temperament, generation and life experience has on their personal ethics.
  • Develop strategies for making decisions in difficult ethical situations.
  • Identify their organization's expectation of professional behavior.
Ethics are a timely topic!
