Encourage the group to walk briskly around the room – anywhere they like,
loosely swinging their arms, breathing deeply, and relaxing their neck and
shoulders.
After a short period has elapsed, shout out a word/term (the word/term may or may not relate to the material). The participants then stop moving and freeze into a statue that represents what the word/term means or looks like to them.
(Example words/terms: freedom, independence, peace, responsibility, hostility, aggression, friendship, family, love, etc.
Repeat this exercise several times.
